• Sensation of spinning or whirling: Perception that one's body or the environment are spinning or moving.
• Vomiting and nausea: These symptoms are frequently accompanied with nausea, which in extreme circumstances can also cause vomiting.
• Inability to maintain stability and a sense of unsteadiness are symptoms of balance loss.
• Increased sweating and dizziness: Feeling dizzy or faint, as well as increased sweating.

Causes of Vertigo

• Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV): The balance organs are impacted when tiny calcium crystals in the inner ear become displaced.
• Vestibular neuritis: An infection with a virus frequently causes inflammation of the vestibular nerve.
• Meniere's Disease: A condition of the inner ear that causes vertigo attacks, hearing loss, tinnitus (ear ringing), and a sense of fullness in the affected ear.
• Vertigo that is specifically linked to headaches is known as migraine-associated vertigo.
• Disorders of the inner ear: Ménière's disease, acoustic neuroma, and labyrinthitis are all conditions that can cause vertigo.
• Medication: As a side effect, some drugs, particularly those that influence the inner ear or the brain's balance centres, can cause vertigo.
