Hydrastis is a slow, deep acting remedy, required in many trophic disturbances. where there is emaciation, catarrhal conditions and ulceration. Defective assimilation. Great weakness prevails at all times. Contains Vitamin C which improves immune function.
Kali phosphoricum: One of the greatest nerve remedies. Prostration. Weak and tired. Especially adapted to the young. Marked disturbance of the sympathetic nervous system. Conditions arising from want of nerve power, neurasthenia, mental and physical depression, are wonderfully improved by this remedy. The causes are usually excitement, overwork and worry.
Kali arsenicosum: Restless, nervous and anaemic
Ferrum metallicum: Best adapted to young weakly persons, anæmic and chlorotic, with pseudo-plethora, who flush easily; cold extremities; oversensitiveness; worse after any active effort. Muscles flabby and relaxed.
Calcarea phosphorica: Anaemias after acute diseases and chronic wasting diseases. Anæmic children who are peevish, flabby, have cold extremities and feeble digestion.
