Kajal has been used for centuries in various cultures as a cosmetic product, often believed to have nourishing and protective effects on the eyes. Thriphala and Daruharidra are boiled to create a kashaya (decoction). Similarly, Tulsi and Sahadevi are juiced. These herbal solutions are mixed, and a cotton cloth is soaked and dried in the solution for 21 days. The cloth is then made into a wick and ignited,a copper plate is used to collect the medicated soot. This soot is then mixed with Cold-Pressed Castor Oil, Desi Cow's Ghee, Pachakarpoora, and beeswax to achieve the final product.
